With Roger Peyer and Filip Radović, aisot secured two key talents in data science, data architecture and ML engineering. aisot's advisory board has been joined by Joel Nathaniel Bloch, one of the top AI professionals in hedge funds, by Chris Bruppacher, one of the leading Swiss financial industry experts, and Ivo Ugrina, a proven international IT and data analysis leader.
Roger Peyer, Head of Data Engineering
Roger Peyer joined aisot as a full-time employee by October 1st, in charge of aisot’s data engineering operations. For the last almost seven years, Roger has been with Avaloq in leading software engineering roles. Prior to Avaloq, Roger has been with IBM, Vontobel and Oepfelbaum IT Management AG. Roger commented: “After almost 14 years in engineering roles at larger corporates, I can’t wait to start working for aisot and building the next generation insights for financial markets. I truly believe in aisot’s immense potential and am looking forward to taking ownership of aisot’s innovative and technically outstanding products.”
Filip Radović, ML Developer
Philip joined us in August with highly developed skills in Python, Pandas, Numpy, Djano, Git and many other languages. Filip’s ML experience started with an internship at the Zagreb-based company KOIOS. Back then, in 2018, he was completely self-taught, without any academic degree or scientific background. During this internship, Filip developed a passion for fintech and predictive models and he decided to study computer science at the University of Zagreb. In 2019 he finished his Bachelor of Science degree and is about to obtain his masters degree from the same school. His scientific work focuses on predictions of Bitcoin prices, using event-based architectures. As Filip developed a novel approach for solving propaganda detection tasks, Nino Antulov-Fantulin, Co-Founder of aisot, became aware of Filip’s talent and capabilities.
Chris Bruppacher, a Swiss financial industry expert with extensive business and technology leadership expertise

Chris has been working for UBS in leadership roles for almost two decades. Today, he is consulting, developing and enabling financial services for the digital and machine economy at Bohem.tech and VYOMA Partner AG.
Ivo Urgrina, a Croatian IT and data analysis leader working for more than two decades on large scale quantitative projects
Ivo Ugrina, who brings an international track record of excellence in academia and industry, is teaching at the University of Split, Croatia as an Assistant Professor. He is a CEO of the cloud solution and security provider NVTEH and is providing mission critical services to the Dutch ICT provider Schuberg Philis. "I am excited for this opportunity with aisot, and eager to leverage my expertise in data science and IT while working alongside my fellow board members to help an industry leader further the company's competitive position for long-term success," said Ivo.
